Hello,
I am sorry for your sadness.  I know how it feels to be lonely.  It takes a lot of belief in yourself that you want to change and talking through what is going on. I'd be happy to help

I am sorry you feel so sad. May I ask if a professional diagnosed you with depression and for how long have you been feeling like this? Are there specific reasons?

You are the decision maker, and I agree with my colleagues, speaking with a professional would bring clarity to your situation.

Wishing you the best in making the best choices for  you.

Your question reminds me of a line in the film Lady Hawk. It reads: Are you light, or are you darkness? The response: I am sorrow.
Getting out of depression usually involves working through a lot with someone. Not alone.
