Sometimes we feel deficient or ill equipped to deal with situations or problems in our life. It is easy to, 'feel stuck,' or locked into a certain way of thinking or feeling. I am a licensed psychotherapist who has 7 years of experience. I have worked with adults, adolescents, couples and families. I have worked in diverse settings, from inpatient forensics hospital to outpatient therapy clinic. My approach is authentic and empathetic. I am here to support you but also to help you achieve your goals.
My clinical approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness based approaches, Brief Solution-Focused therapy, and psychotherapy. As a certified yoga instructor, I also implement relaxation techniques, including self-guided imagery and meditation. My belief is that there is not a one size fits all in therapy. Depending on your current needs we will find an approach that best suits you.
